Kerri & Josh | New London Historical Society Wedding | New London, NH

You may remember Kerri and Josh from their engagement session this past winter. The bride and groom were married at the New London Historical Society over Labor Day Weekend. It was one of the most beautiful and personal weddings I've witnessed. The happy couple could not have had a more perfect New England day, with sunny, blue skies, and late summer warmth. Kerri planned every detail with personal touches, making most of the beautiful decor by hand and putting thought into every small decision along the way. It did not go unnoticed and was deeply appreciated by her wedding party, her guests, and her vendors.

When both Kerri and Josh referenced "Planet of the Apes" during their vows, which they saw on their first date, they had everyone laughing. They also shared many tears as they touched on all the happy moments throughout their relationship and the love they promised to share for the rest of their lives. Even I was sobbing behind my camera!

Things got wild during the reception! There was a conga line, a handle of fireball being passed around the dance floor, and the mother of the groom cutting a bridesmaid's dress in half! Needless to say, this was a very memorable affair start to finish. Congrats to my lifelong friend, Kerri, and her new husband, Josh, on the wonderful start of their marriage!

Karina & Tom | One Year Later

It's crazy to think an entire year has passed since Karina and Tom said "I Do"! May 22, 2016 was a perfect day. The bride, groom, and their families all pitched in to make this Sunday evening, DIY wedding one they would always remember.

Maid of Honor, twin sister of the bride, Maria, did her beautiful makeup. Maria's boyfriend (now fiancé, congrats!), Brooklyn artist, Erik Jones, performed their ceremony. The mother of the bride cooked tamales for all the guests. Many other family members took time to assemble their flowers that morning. All to make it the most beautiful celebration of love for these newlyweds.

My favorite part about Karina and Tom's wedding day was how simple they wanted to keep everything. The whole day really was all about celebrating their love and new lives together. This truly reflected who they are as a couple.

Congratulations Karina & Tom! Happy one year anniversary!
