Emma & Connor | Clark's Landing Wedding | Point Pleasant, NJ

"There may be something there that wasn't there before." - Beauty and the Beast

You may remember Emma and Connor from their midtown Manhattan engagement session this past spring. We spent an amazing, chilly afternoon exploring the city streets near their studio apartment. (Read about how they met unexpectedly and see their photos here!

Fast forward to the Friday before Thanksgiving 2016, just as the sun began to set, when they became husband and wife. Over the last five years their closest friends and family members from coast to coast have surrounded, supported, and celebrated them. On November 18th, they all came together to share in the love of one of the happiest, most wonderful couples I have ever known. It was such an honor to witness and capture all the special moments throughout their romantic, glamorous wedding day, with just a touch of Disney magic.

"Please, be our guest!" - Beauty and the Beast

There were so many stunning details which made Emma and Connor's wedding unique. They shared many laughs during their sunset unity sand ceremony. Cocktail hour featured an ice sculpture of the Enchanted Rose, along with themed signature drinks. One of the best men played guitar and sang Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" during their first dance. The most special detail was how much love you could feel!

Emma and Connor are meant to be. She is the Beauty to his Beast, he is all the books in her library. Congratulations to this happy couple!

"Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme." - Beauty and the Beast

Desert Daisy Jewelry | 2016 Holiday Collection | Las Vegas, NV

Several months ago, I participated in a weekly social media challenge through the Rising Tide Society and discovered the gorgeous jewelry designed by Emma of Desert Daisy Jewelry. At the time, I had an idea for a styled shoot her work would be perfect for. When the time to plan the shoot came, I reached out to see if she would be interested in contributing a few of her pieces. She was delighted to hear about the theme (more on that coming soon!) and we knew we were on to collaborating on something amazing.

My shoot was planned for just two days before a Vegas vacation where Desert Daisy Jewelry just happens to be located! Emma and I decided to meet for coffee so I could return her custom made pieces in person instead of shipping them back to her. Little did I know when we originally made those plans they would morph into much more than a get together at Starbucks! I had a little extra time one morning during my trip so we decided on a photo shoot instead! She threw together a creative made up of the most wonderfully talented ladies I could imagine connecting with on a trip across the country! All together, we made magic! Behold, the Ice Princess inspired 2016 holiday collection from Desert Daisy Jewelry.

Emma & Connor | Spring Midtown Engagement Session | New York, NY

In 2011, Emma was hired to be the hair stylist on the set of an independent film. One of the actors was "extremely late" which, to be honest, she found annoying! When he finally showed up, Connor introduced himself, Emma got to work and they started chatting. Within minutes, she was no longer annoyed with him for being late and found they were hitting it off! There was an instant connection they both were feeling that neither had experienced before. They got to know each other better each day on set, even causing scenes to shoot late because they couldn't help wanting to be around each other! Feelings grew and it was on the last day of filming when they hugged goodbye that Connor knew he had to kiss her.

Five years later, Connor proposed and Emma said yes! These two are absolutely perfect together. They keep each other laughing, and both have this infectious, positive energy that is just so fun to be around. They are looking forward to spending the rest of their lives enjoying bagels for breakfast and date nights snuggled up with wine, takeout and Netflix.

See photos from this gorgeous pair's city springtime engagement session below. Their wedding day is exactly one month away and I can't wait to be a part of what is sure to be the most beautiful day! Congrats, you two!

Amanda & Aaron | Labor Day Weekend Wedding | Lake Sunapee, NH

On September 3, 2016, Amanda and Aaron shared vows that had been over ten years in the making! They have been writing their love story for over a decade. Together, they celebrated with an intimate ceremony at Amanda's aunt's lake house with family and close friends.

My favorite part of the day was hearing Maid of Honor, the bride's sister, Sara, share stories of their childhood. She talked about everything from Troll dolls to literally drawing a line down the center of their bedroom declaring which side belonged to each of them! Most importantly, during Sara's speech, she spoke about the match her sister, who grew up to be her best friend, had found in Aaron. It was so touching getting to witness all the joy and love between these two women, the bride and groom, and both their families in coming together.

See photos from their beautiful day below! Don't forget to "spread the love"!
