Eliza & Eric | In Home Couples Session | Hollywood, CA

For years, I've been trying to get my youngest sister, Eliza, and her boyfriend, Eric, in front of my camera. On a recent trip out to Los Angeles, it finally happened!

These two are so cute together, completely compatible, and beyond GORGEOUS. It's actually quite difficult for me to find the right words to write about them. When this session happened on a sunny Saturday afternoon, I had no idea that Eric had already chosen an absolutely stunning diamond ring for my sister and would be proposing a few days later! They enjoy staying home on the weekends, watching movies, doing puzzles, and caring for their adopted dogs, Walter and Zoe. Just like their couples session, and a lot of their relationship, Eric's proposal was quiet, very personal and took place at home.

We are thrilled to welcome this amazing man to our family! I am so excited to help Eliza plan her wedding, as she is doing for me as my Maid of Honor, best friend, and sister! Congratulations to this very happy and special couple. I love you both!

Belle & Jaimie | Austin "Engagement Session"

Normally, I like to start off my blog posts with a story about my couple. For this one, take a look at their downtown Austin session first and you can read more about Belle & Jaimie below!

How gorgeous is this pair?! My camera almost couldn't handle how hot they were! Their chemistry was insane and I absolutely LOVED shooting these two, it's definitely a session to remember.

Now, would you believe me if I told you they aren't a real couple?! They actually met the morning these images were taken!

Last summer, I was heading down to Austin for Mallory & Clayton's hill country engagement session when I thought it would be fun to do a couples shoot near Sixth Street, too. There is something I can't explain about Austin, I just love the grittiness, the weirdness, the artistry of the city, and the vibe it gives off. I started looking around on Instagram and found this cotton-candy-colored goddess via hashtags! I knew I needed to photograph her immediately and reached out. Fortunately for me, she was totally into the idea! After a few weeks, she then used social media to find Jaimie!

We met on top of an Austin parking garage on a HOT Texas morning and clicked right away. They had even brought completely unplanned coordinating outfits! It couldn't have gone more perfectly, don't you think?! Thank you both for being amazing models, people, and for letting a complete stranger from NYC talk you into this crazy photo shoot!

Kerri & Josh | Stark Park Winter Engagement Session | Manchester, NH

Kerri and Josh met through a mutual friend three years ago. He took one look at her and thought she was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen, she thought he had great taste in music. They started spending a lot of time together and knew almost right away they were meant for each other!

Together, they love traveling around New England and are hoping to explore Ireland and Thailand in the future. Kerri loves crafting, Josh loves watching football, particularly the amazing five-time Superbowl champs, the New England Patriots (Go Pats!). They enjoy trying out new foods and binge watching movies with their beloved dog, Petey.

Capturing Kerri & Josh's New Hampshire wedding this September is going to be extra special for all of us. The bride and I have known each other since first grade! The night before we got in touch about her wedding, I had a dream about photographing it! We both believe in signs and are so happy it worked out! I am so looking forward to sharing a day full of love with this beautiful couple, their families and lots of old friends. Congratulations!

Kristin & Daniel | NYC Engagement Session | New York, NY

Years ago, I met Kristin while working at Disneyland. When she and her fiancé, Daniel, booked their very first visit to New York City, she contacted me right away to plan their engagement session. Although he had proposed a year before, they had been holding off on having engagement photos taken, waiting for something truly unique for them. What could be more iconic than Central Park after a snowstorm and a view of the skyline?! We broke their session up into two days because NYC was experiencing a deep freeze their first weekend here. Coming from year-round perfect weather in Southern California, they were such troopers in the cold! A few days later the temperature shot up to the 50s when we visited Top of the Rock for part two! You just never know what to expect in the Northeast.

When they were in sixth grade, Daniel gave Kristin a Valentine that she ended up throwing in the trash! Daniel was heartbroken when he saw it there later, but she eventually decided to give him a chance and 14 YEARS later, the rest is history! Capturing the goofy, fun, spirited love these two share was the perfect way to start 2017 and will remain a highlight. I am so happy and excited for their future. Congratulations!
